Came across an interesting article at the atheist media blog. The article points out how many Christians were encouraging other Christians to vote to keep “In God We Trust” on our currency. As of writing this post the majority has voted to keep “In God We Trust”. It reminded me of how Bush and now Obama end a lot of their peaches with “God bless America”.

What’s interesting is how religion is often a hot button for us. I know for me individually I can easy get all emotional when it comes to such topics. Politicians know this and often use it to their advantage. Now I’m not saying that politicians are doing anything wrong, in fact they are doing their job. They gotta do what it takes to get liked and voted into office. But it’s just interesting.
