Do you run your own blog?  I’ve been noticing lately a lot of more spam comments that have been bypassing the wordpress filters and Akismet.  If you are a blogger I would love to learn what you are doing to combat spam.  You’re more than welcome to leave a comment.

I find having to go through comments and clean up spam is tedious.  I’m actually considering turning off comments however that’s also annoying because blogs are all about conversations.  I mean without comments a blog is kinda of like a static website.  I guess I would just like to know what other bloggers are doing to combat spam in their comments and if there are any wordpress recommended solutions or plugins.  Thanks.
